FREE Summer Concert - March to May and Wies & Buff

March to May ~ Seattle-based folk-pop duo March to May overlays harp and guitar with rich vocal harmonies, haunting lyrics and riveting melodies, in the vein of the Swell Season, Damien Rice & the Civil Wars. The band formed in the spring of 2013 as a collaboration between Singer/Songwriters Darren Guyaz and Beth Wesche.

Also playing, John Wies & Decateur Buff.  John Wies ~ Originally from New England, John moved to Seattle in the mid 1990's. John's gravelly vocals accompany his unique, percussive acoustic-guitar playing style. His compositions investigate the human condition and contain elements of his influences; from blues and funk to rock and bluegrass.

Recognizing the essences or "aromas" associated with wine. You will learn how to perform a deductive tasting, understand where aromas of wine come from, recognize the differences between floral, fruity, spicy, earthy and woodsy essences in both red and white, and how to apply this knowledge when doing a tasting.

Focusing on the palate you will learn how to perform a deductive tasting, the components of wine and where they come from, seeing, smelling and tasting the different components, how the components complement each other, and how to apply this knowledge when doing a tasting.
