The release of our 2018 Red Willow Vineyard Syrah commemorates the 30th anniversary of the 1988 vintage, the first single-varietal ever made and one of the most important wines made in Washington. The 2018 Red Willow Vineyard Syrah is a refined, opulent, medium-bodied wine brimming with dark fruit and subtle spice notes. Aromas of caramel, blackberry and dried violet lift from the glass. Layers of black cherry and pomegranate reveal leather undertones on the palate. Round tannins give the wine a nice, plush mouthfeel that leads to a bold, lengthy finish. Aged for 10 years, our Syrah will open beautifully. To enjoy now, decant for a couple of hours first.
