We harvested the grapes for the 2018 Grenache Rosé in Mid-September. Back at the winery, the grapes were destemmed and pressed immediately in a gentle membrane press. The juice was cold settled and racked for fermentation, which occurred at a maximum temperature of 60˚F. For the 2018 vintage, our focused efforts in the cellar resulted in a lighter color and the delicate cranberry and strawberry characteristics we love in our Rosé.
Our 2018 Columbia Winery Grenache Rosé exhibits fresh, bright cranberry and strawberry aromas. On the palate, refreshing acidity is balanced by a hint of effervescence and followed by a crisp finish. An incredibly versatile wine, this Rosé pairs perfectly with a sunny day and spicy dishes like an Indian Curry or your favorite summer salad.
