Light amber in color. On the nose, spice with a touch of Lychee nut. On the palate, sweet and flavorful in the initial mouth sensation. Lots of apricot and hints of spice, Lychee nut, and shades of peach nectar.
The 2005 vintage scored 91 points Wine Advocate (08/07).
On October 31, 2006, we harvested Riesling grape clusters frozen on the vines. Temperatures dropped to 14 degrees F by 3:00 a.m., and five very dedicated workers finished picking by dawn.
