Corporate & Private Events

Columbia Winery offers a beautiful banquet facility with a variety of meeting spaces in an inviting atmosphere, as well as in-house catering. When every detail must be perfect, you can rely on our facility to provide a truly memorable experience. To request information and check availability, please complete our simple Event Form.

OUR FACILITIES

Tastefully decorated in warm earth tones with two gas fireplaces, the Columbia Room can comfortably accommodate groups up to 300 people. From business functions to private parties, this room is ideal for any type of special event.

Additionally, the Columbia Room can be divided, creating the following two rooms that each can accommodate up to 75 guests for seated banquets. The Milestone Room, with a wall of windows and French doors, opens onto a spacious and private patio. The Cellarmaster Room offers elegant privacy with controlled lighting. We can also offer a microphone, simple audio system, full dropdown screen and projector for a $200 setup fee. Additional AV service can be provided.

TASTING ROOM

Our Tasting Room is open to the public seven days a week from 11 am to 6 pm; 7pm on Fridays. Rentals are available after hours. Rates mirror the Columbia Room. Security fees may apply.

Private tastings, hosted by a Columbia Winery educator, are also available. All private tastings are fee based and must be scheduled one week prior to your event.

WINE PURCHASE

All wine purchased for an event is purchased through Columbia Winery in case sales only; no individual bottle sales. A $12 minimum per person wine spend is required at the event for each guest over 21 years of age. This agreement allows you to purchase cases from the current and available vintages and varietals for the event. Wines not poured at the event are the property of the customer and are to be removed at the conclusion of the event. A guest count of the event is required one week in advance in collaboration with the caterers final guest count. A credit card on file will be charged for this fee prior to the event for the wine purchase.

CATERING

All food and beverage (wine excluded) services are provided by our caterers, Lisa Dupar Catering, A Platinum Event and John Howie, Seastar Restaurant Catering. Due to the current King County Health recommendations, prepared foods utilized for banquet events are not allowed to leave the premises. With the exception of wedding cakes, all food and beverage (wine excluded) must be purchased through and provided by our preferred caterers. In addition, the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Washington State Liquor Control Board. Columbia Winery and our preferred caterers are responsible for the administration and adherence to these regulations. It is the policy that no beverage of any kind may be brought in the winery. All food and beverage charges are subject to a 12.5% service fee, applicable to Washington State sales tax and 20% gratuity through your selected caterer.

PARKING

Columbia Winery has 140 complementary parking spaces. To ensure adequate parking, please encourage your guests to carpool. Parking for guests is designated in the southwest area of the parking lot. Your Columbia Winery Event Manager can provide you with valet service referrals.

JANITORIAL SERVICE FEE

A non-refundable $150 cleaning free per function will be added to the final contract.

RESERVATIONS

The reservation is complete only with a receipt of non-refundable deposit and a signed room rental agreement. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid in full 60 days prior to the event.

CANCELLATIONS

A cancellation must be received 90 days prior to your event or you will be charged the full room rental rate.
